Just looking at predictions for the Turkish economy and predictions are that the TL will go to over 14 to the £ within the next 5 years ..... scary !!

It will destroy the working locals,, but I imagine most of the richer news have theirs in sterling. I'll have to work out when to change men back to sterling.

Wait till after Brexit then see how many TL you will get to the £ - it may be the other way around - lol.

I think the richhave theirs in $ nit £ !its should ne no surprise 14 tl in 5 years with inflation at 20 % and c2 % in most eu modern countries its a straight firward carry trade where the economic theory will result in a large continuoscurrency lldepreciation equaling the difference in inflation rates

A forecast I read recently had the £ at 12TL by this time next year.
