Following on from reports of burglaries last week, I have decided to get a burglar alarm installed on our house. Can anybody recommend a reliable company I can use?
East of Girne.
TIA

North view advertises services including security fitting and states as based in Esentepe. I cannot comment on the skill set as I have never used this service. There is a 'phone number on the posts. Burglar alarms require a response, I wonder what that would be and time taken to react unless you were in your property. Just a point to consider before deciding what, where etc. Our small estate runs an unofficial 'neighbourhood watch', but even that didn't prevent a break in to a holiday home some years ago. Sadly, increasing burglaries are a fact of life here.

North view? Done a search of the forum and on google but cannot find any information.
And yeah, would love to have a dog if I lived in North Cyprus full time...

I put my own cameras on and in my house, bought off Amazon. The outside one cost £130 , it’s awesome, pan and tilt, night vision takes photos got sound on it etc works great can remotely view from anywhere in the world, inside cost about £30 same features, I can speak to people on it etc ,like my cleaner and if I’m having any work done can look at it first hand. It’s not an alarm system as such, but it sends me notifications when my pool guy calls etc( so I know I’m not paying him for not turning up lol !) all in all I’m well happy with it.

That all sounds a bit 1984 mate. My mate has a similar system for keeping an eye on his dogs when he is at work. It confuses the hell out of them!
I’m just after a basic alarm. I know it doesn’t stop everybody but it might act as a deterrent to some as well as informing my neighbours that something is up.

Mine is a basic system, all you do is connect the cameras to your internet with the pass word, scan the code on the camera through the divice app,and basically that’s it. Took about half an hour from start to Finnish

I'm no expert, but I’ve never herd of a camera for inside a car, but, just an idea, they do those battery powered wildlife motion dectecting cameras, might work? There are solar powered cameras (arlo is a brand I’ve looked at) you would of course need internet connection to remotely view. ie, from say England.
