Army shps off Tatlisui

There are cufrently about 7 army ships in the sea off of Tatlsu and we just heard what appeared to be cannon fire. Anyone any idea what is happening?

Training exercise. They did the same last year and large gun fire and machine gun fire was heard.

I think you will find that these are the exercises that they carry out at this time every year (I hope!).

In the British Army, there is a whole maritime regiment with ships and qualified soldiers manning them too. Not sure how the Turkish Army is organised though. More likely to be Navy if guns being fired.

With recent recruiting and retention problems, probably down to a Sqn nowadays.

Quite possibly a troop by now, not even a platoon. Poxy British Government, it will probably cite the soldiers in court for gun running!!
