Les Ambassadeurs Girne host's May Coffee Morning.RESULT !

We have great pleasure in being able to share with you the exciting news that our next Coffee Morning is to be hosted by the stunning Les Ambassadeurs Hotel and Casino in Girne.
This is going to be held on TUESDAY 21st May 2019 ( Not we may add the second Tuesday of the month but the third one ) and will be from 11.00 am.
Our 'A' Team will be having a meeting there this Thursday to ''fine tune'' the details and we will be posting everything in full after that.
Please make a note of the date and time as we know there are so many functions and events ''going off' at the moment and we would love to have you all there in support of our small local charity.

After a warm and welcoming meeting on Thursday with the lovely people of Les Ambassedeurs Hotel in Girne we would like to share full details with you now of our Coffee Morning to be held on Tuesday 21st May 2019 and starting at 11.00 am.
We will be asking for just a 15 TL per person entrance donation to the charity and you will be given a refreshment voucher to enable you to enjoy a cup of tea/coffee/fruit juice and cake which has been prepared by the talented hotel chefs and gifted to us by Les Ambassadeurs.
There will be our own charity stalls plus many more vendors selling their own wares, our Island famous raffle and 50./50 and we would love you all to join us and share an enjoyable morning set in such stunning surroundings.
Les Ambassadeurs Hotel is in Girne. Travelling from the east of town head out towards the Wednesday market site but do not turn left at the roundabout , just keep on going , you will pass Dad's Cafe on the right and will come to LEMAR on the left hand side.Here you will see just ahead of you on the right a tall blue sign with Les Ambassadeurs and an arrow pointing right! It is nearly just opposite Gloria Jeans if this helps.You turn right and head down this road to the bottom.Too far and you will be in the sea.
There are two large car parks on your left and you will see the Hotel with the separate Casino building on the left.
We will be situated in the beach/seaside Marquee which is on the lower level to the Hotel and Casino buildings and which is accessed by steps at the side of the Casino building. There are 3 lots of eight steps but they are not steep ones.You do not go into the MAIN Hotel entrance only if you want to have a look around afterwards and why not! It is a beautiful Hotel.
If you do not think you could manage the steps the Hotel is providing a buggy service to take you down a gentle slope situated behind a manned barrier which is just to the right of the car parking area's or you could walk down this way if you prefer.
Wheelchair users can be driven down this way and then their vehicles driven back up to the car parks.

Lots of work to be done but we are all so pleased to have been offered this fabulous new venue and now we just need your support and you to be there for us to help us raise much needed funds to help the local State hospitals help us all.

We have ONLY two more sleeps to go until this very special Coffee Morning.
A new and stunning venue for us and we are all over the moon! We will be announcing details on Tuesday of our NEXT Coffee Morning which will be held on June 18th 2019. at another NEW venue for us.
Our heartfelt thanks to EVERYONE for their kindness, generosity, support and their caring!
Lots of work to do before Tuesday and we have some beautiful items for our charity tables all at bargain prices so please do not forget your wallets/purses!

Oh! What a Morning It Was!
The stunning Les Ambassaeurs Hotel, Casino and Marina in Girne DID US PROUD!

We would like to give our heartfelt thanks to the gracious and so generous owners ,the management team , the ''buggy'' drivers who never stopped smiling, the waiters and waitresses who were so attentive, friendly and obliging to us , the talented chefs who had prepared such delicious refreshments to gift to our supporters and to everyone of this incredible Hotel.

We shared a morning filled with warmth, chat, laughter and in just a few hours raised a magnificent and record breaking amount for one of our Coffee Mornings.

A total of 7,234. 00 TL - - which will all go towards helping us help the local State hospitals help us all.

Huge thank you's to all the stallholders who support our events so faithfully, to all the generous people who donate some incredible raffle prizes which are always announced and thanked on the morning, to all our 'friends of the charity' who come and give us their time and work so hard for us always and to ALL of you that share these events with us and make them 'extra' special.
