Can't get BBC

Can't get BBC. No BBC iplayer, BBC news, nor BBC sport.

I was unable to get the BBC service last night and now this morning.

Is anyone else having a similar problem?

Otherwise any suggestions as to how to fix it.

we can get it,using streamvia.

Thanks Cas for your reply.

I use Streamvia but i thought that only related to the BBC iplayer and online, not the the BBC text for News and sport, which i am also unable to access. Oddly enough Mrs Joe Soap can get BBC text News and sport on the ipad.

Contact Streamvia and they will have you watching again in no time. I had this the other week and just had to log on to their site to refresh something or other.

Had a look at this via link provided.

Not for me. A click on the link brings you to a page showing lots of channels, click on any of them and the pop ups, adverts, betting sites etc come up......no idea how you eventually get to viewing the channel selected as I gave up. All I want to do is click on the channel and view the programme. Will stick with my VPN access. Reviews are not that good either.

Seems like a lot of similar sites saying they offer something but failing to deliver.

Odd.... I'm puzzled (and sorry) that it doesn't work for you; I also have suggested this site previously, as I have used it for a couple of years (and checked again on reading this thread) and it has and still does work perfectly, with no pop-ups etc at all - on my previous recommendation, Erol also stated that he had the same problems as you - I wonder why?
I don't use any vpn, just go direct and works every time...!
(I use firefox with AdBlocker Ultimate add-on, so whether that has any significance...?)

Just tried all BBC sites everyone works immediately, only the usual adverts on ITV Sites. Been using this for 2 years with no adverts on BBC Strange one this.

Sorry but I came here 7 years ago . And one of the reasons , was to get away from British tv. I don’t have a tv and don’t have a need for one. Enjoy your life here without the crap that is going on around you.

You could have got away from UK TV far easier than by travelling to the TRNC......Just turn the set off!

PS I listen to BBC news sometimes, which makes me appreciate living in the TRNC even more
