Still awaiting Arcelik for repair

We are now in to our 15th week waiting for Arcelik to fix our inverter a /c .
I would advise anyone on this forum to avoid them as the after sale service has gone down the pan. Lies and more lies just about covers it. Somebody once said they, meaning business here, will always tell you what you want to hear to get you off their backs. It is sad that it’s taken a supposedly reputable company like Arcelik to prove the point.
Buyer beware!!

Aren't Arcelik outlets a Franchise. Perhaps its just the store you purchased the inverter. Actually I have never used them but friends that have, seem to swear by them, saying that the store always honoured warranties even after they had expired. You have more patience than I have..... 15 weeks be dammed!!!!

I agree 15 weeks is outrageous, but what would you suggest ? I think they are aware of my feelings and although they may be franchises there is a central repair and maintenance and the buck stops there and have been dealing with them as well as the store. Unfortunately there appears to be no recourse as there would be in many other so called civilised countries.

Which branch are you dealing with? Be interesting to see if there is a response from others who have been dealing with them and how they got over the problem.

I have to say that I have had repairs carried out on a few occasions and have always had excellent service. It must be very frustrating for you.

I am assuming its out of warranty or surely they would of just replaced it?
I can imagine how frustrating it is as they are generally so good with their after sales service and again assuming it must be due to the fact its an air conditioner rather than oven, fridge, washing machine etc. I admit I have never used them for this service as my customer's units are always out of warranty and I have found Veli more than satisfactory.

When I had my kitchen redone, we bought all new Arcelik appliances and have had no problems. I was given the following te.no., - 03924447777 - which is their service dept. and is located in Nicosia. They have set days for certain areas. Dipkarpaz is Wednesdays and we have not had any problems with their service.
