Unwanted Spectacles

Do any of the charities here collect unwanted spectacles for recycling? If the charities don't, does anyone else?

The KAR shops sell them on. 2 in Girne, 1 in Karakum.

Tulips shops also take them to sell on.

As do Heartbeat behind the hospital. It's usually local people who buy them as they can't afford otherwise.

I give spectacles to KAR shop, PLUS I give all my (now unwanted) contacted lenses to Tulips (provided they are within date), their people then find anyone who has the same prescription as myself. If have handed over contact lense containers and cleanser to Tulips as well. I am assured they find a good home after checks have been made.
