Can any one tell me the dental costs on Cyprus please ?

They are cheaper than the UK.

I thought costs varied from dentist to dentist.

I was quoted 2 estimates for required treatment, first estimate 4000tl another dentist quoted 1,800tl.

there is a price list published by dentist association as a guideline to dentists in Cyprus. This is not a list for patients however because the guideline includes minimum prices a dentist should charge for procedures. They are allowed to charge above the guideline figures but not below. However, it is common for some dentists, especially those lacking enough business to quote you below these figures (even though there are implications if caught) to get business.

I believe no dentist has a price list printed out, to get a price for a specific procedure you need to call, possibly checked up and quoted.

How do I know all this, well, my sister is a dentist. You can call her clinic at 0533 866 4466 and usually schedule an appointment.
