What do I do if I can't remember my password on my router for access to Wi-Fi? I'm in UK and someone is staying at our house. Can they re set it and set up a new password? If so how do they do it.
Thank you

Re: Extend Router
They could take it back to Extend and get them to reset it with another password.

Re: Extend Router
Reset it and start again... there should be a little indented pin reset somewhere on it.

Re: Extend Router
If you reset it then any settings that extend require will be lost and it will go back to factory settings, best to take it to extend

Re: Extend Router
Hi Bailey7,
I have a TP-Link Router & PC Tower.
Also, you must be on the same Network as the Router!
Remember, I am signed in & know my password.
If this Info is no use to you, it may help others change their password.
To get to the password, using a PC/Laptop.
Most of what you are looking for should be on the left panel of the screen.
Left Click/Enter on the following...
1. Windows Icon/Start. Bottom left of screen
2. Documents
3. This PC
4. Network
5. Wireless Router under Network Infrastructure, Main Screen
6. Log In. A pop up window may appear, with Username & Password, press Enter
7. Wireless
8. Wireless Security
BINGO
You should now be on the Wireless Security Page.
On this page is your Router Password.
You can view or change it from here, remember to scroll down and click on SAVE,
Only if you make changes.
Remember, It's not Fort Knox.
Use a password you can remember.
Most Routers should have Info on the bottom,
that will lead you to the Routers web page
Inc Password Info.
Good Luck
