Lost drivers licence

Searched high and low for my TRNC drivers licence........can't find it. UK licence expired and also lost.
Lapta police informed but they don't seem too bothered ("keep looking")
How can I get a replacement?

If you have photocopies of both licences, it should be a 'simple' (sic) process. I would suggest a visit to the Lefkosa main office with an explanatory letter in Turkish signed by a notar and plead your case.

I lost my wallet recently including my British & Turkish licences - I got a report from my local police in Esentepe, took this to the government offices next to the main hospital in Girne.

Filled in a form, gave them the letter, new photos, paid some money and three weeks later collected my new replacement licence - they will only give you a replacement with what was left on your old licence.
