Flights: Ireland to North Cyprus

Hi,
Until now flights between the TRNC and Ireland either involved a crazy AM start from Ercan or an overnight stay in Istanbul, Izmir, or London.
Thankfully, it will be possible between May and September (these may be extended) to fly Dublin-Izmir-Ercan and return all in the same day without having to get up in the middle of the night or pay the extortionate prices demanded in some Turkish hotels.
Aer Lingus are operating Tuesday and Saturday Dublin to Izmir. They have an early flight (0740) departure from Dublin on Tuesday meaning you can connect with Atlasjet at about 1700. On Saturday they depart Izmir at 2045 meaning you can comfortably arrive from Ercan (1615 approx) in plenty of time and be in Dublin at about midnight Irish time.
Aer Lingus are currently quoting €200 return and Atlas YTL190 (€85 approx). This compares very favourably with Turkish Airlines who consistently quote €430. Of course you have to buy your own booze on board Aer Lingus, but you cannot have everything.
I hope some of you find this helpful.
