According to the TRNC Government edict on 'Summer Hours':

M,T,W,F - 0800-1430
Th - 0800-1230 & 1300-1730

However, experience has shown these hours to be "relaxed" to put it mildly!

My standard advice on this subject is 'Go Early!'

If you try to fit another task in before you go there, you may find that they have either knocked off early, or have a long queue and won't attend to you

Tried to go this morning absolute chaos no parking anywhere and all access roads were blocked by haphazard parking took me twenty minutes to go 100 mtrs. Try again tomorrow. Grr.

It doesn't help in that all the staff park their cars there first. I know of someone who parks there about 7.45, reads a paper or a book until just before 8.30 and even then isn't always first in the queue!

I managed to park today got my road tax went to collect my driving licence after waiting 4 weeks not there another three weeks she said. I have a phone problem and need to change my account but need the licence to do it passport not enough.

Friday 14th arrived and pared 08:15 joined Q new road tax driving off 08:45 about 20 in Q when I left

I went this morning and arrived around 7:55am. The car park at the tax office wasn't even half full so there was plenty of space to park.
Much to the annoyance of one or two people already waiting at the road tax counters, they didn't open at 8am!
Enquiries made to the staff nearby who were getting cups of coffee etc. was that the counters wouldn't be open until 8:30am.
As it turned out, two counters opened at 8:20am. I was the first at one of them. Paid tax in cash and received new tax certificate all in about 90 seconds or so!
