I am a,cider drinker and I drinks it all of the day Oorah ooorah ay .oorah Oorah ay.
got 2 cases from hur Deniz last week at 120 tl. each . yesterday same shop same cider and same date expiry, 190tl.
no movement in exchange rate . petrol costs etc. shop just shrugged it's shoulders
maybe because it's a summer drink . !
hope nobody buys it so the suppliers have to then sell it at a reasonable rate.
in the meantime it appears bars are now converting to magners. Yuk 。

you are right. however I was trying to raise the fact that any make of beer here is the same purchase price. the selling price is of course the same. so why when the cost price is the same as a beer do I have to pay much much more . before you then say the cost price is 8 tl .may I suggest if you buy at 5 tl for a beer and sell at 10 which is 5tl profit. why do then buy at 7 for strongbow which is the rate today at illeli who are making a profit then you cannot sell at 12 which is the same 5tl profit after all it's just a bottle or can . that's the problem here... they have to double and a,bit more regardless

I remember (or I think I do ) a local shop up here in NW UK that sold the proper scrumpy, brought up from the West Country - take your own bottles/containers and fill from the barrel.....
Unfortunately (?), I had already been introduced to the delights of snakebites by a friend, so.......

(This was a few years ago....)
