I hadn't visited this beach in ages, but took some young visitors who had not been there before. To say I was embarrassed by the place would be an understatement. It was filthy! There was not a square inch of sand that was free of either a bottle top, other assorted rubbish or half a dozen cigarette ends. It would have been impossible for a small child to play in the sand. We didn't linger, but moved back to safer ground (Long Beach).

Rubbish. Are you talking about the public or hotel beach? We've just spent 10 days at the Palm Beach Hotel. Beach, walkways, terrace immaculate and continually swept. No plastic or debris. Delight for small children playing in shallow water. Hotel and environment a joy. Sea turquoise and clear. Swimming a pleasure. You either have chosen wrong beach or you are a rival hotelier trying to blacken the hotel's name. People from South Cyprus, across whole island, Israel and all Europe return year after year. Best beach by far in Cyprus and we know them all.

Public Beach. And it was disgusting!!

Have taken several visiting families & friends there over the years. Beautiful clean beach!
