Teeny Tiny Bugs

Is anyone else being over run by by these little teeeeeeeny tiny round squishy bugs. They don't seem to do anything but climb upwards....on the walls, on the dogs on the plants... They are slow moving, perhaps because they are so small, and burst real easy between your fingers.

I am literally going insane with them! Poor Mr Ted (my dog) is absolutely smothered in them and when he scratches, hundreds of them fall off and start mooching around for something to climb. I can't possibly be the only one who is having a hard time with them......

Hi these sound like a variety of tick we have had them after spreading manure on the garden - never again!
We had to have Orkin pest control come & spray the inside walls & the garden & washed the dogs in insecticide shampoo good luck!

I really don't think they are Tics...they don't latch on and suck blood...they really just climb.....

Are they very black & shiny? I took a sample of the ones we had to our vet & they told me they were ticks - you are correct they were not the usual ticks but I took their word for it. There were hundreds of them although they did not seem to bite I could not wait to get rid of them.

that sounds awful.... but if they are ticks.... which I am not sure they are but might be .... you need to be very careful of Lyme Disease Just saying.... I have suffered it and would not wish it on my worst enemy.

Dalartokat; Definitely nothing like that (thank god) eeek!

Ozankoys; Yes....very black and shiny! How did you get rid of them? I have had them before, but not in their millions like this year!

Sophie; They are way too tiny to get a clear picture, also they don't stop moving....I was actually shouting at one to stand still for a minute for a picture!! haha

Mrs Gee; As far as I am aware there has been no recorded cases of Lyme Disease here, so this doesn't worry me. I'm just fed up of teeny squishy bugs invading my home and climbing all over the place...and poor Mr Ted

I am seriously going insane.....Am I really the only person on here that has them, surely not??? ((

Daisy dukes, you may not have heard of any recorded cases of Lyme disease, however I can assure you, maybe I am the only one. Six years ago spent a week being treated in kolan. Diagnosed and very well treated by Dr Silem. Went back to Uk shortly after to have it confirmed, my specialist rheumatologist confirmed what Dr Silem had diagnosed and also confirmed I had been very lucky as it could have been fatal. Fact is it affected my nerve endings so permanent loss of feeling and constant tingling in one foot and fingers. Lyme disease is carried in the stomach of sheep and other animals and is only caused by 10% of ticks... don’t think it is not here.... it is, and I would urge everyone to be cautious.

i have tried to upload about three different images from websites as tried to take my own photo but still can't get pics on due to it saying 500mb size or whatever, so posting this link.
if you look on this link, scroll down to myth number 7, you will see a photo of a coin and a tick. i believe this could be what you are trying to describe???

http://eating8safe.com/lymes-blog/2016/ ... bout-ticks

i have seen several all over the exterior walls of a friends property, they squish if u try to squash them they kind of pop out a bit blood. they are in fact ticks if this is the same teeny tiny bug that you are referring to. my friend has tried all kinds but they keep coming back and even getting in through fly screens! gulp!

Get some DIATOMACEOUS EARTH and spread wherever the infestation is ...

Diatomaceous earth kills all bugs. It has been reported to be the most effective solution when fighting pests like fleas, ants and bed bugs. Farmers dump food grade diatomaceous earth by big scoops in with grains when the grains are stored. It kills the insects that want to feast on the grain.
