OK I have listened to and heard many different ways to treat & paint exterior walls and wanted to use the "power, experience and knowledge of the Forum" to get the ultimate best way.
At the moment I am stripping back the paint and have removed all the flaky paint. What is the best way to remove the rest without damaging the wall?
What happens after that? What do I seal it with? Prime it? What are the best products?
After sealing - what next and then???
I am doing it myself so please do not reply with ludicrous quotes and promises.

Don't know where about you are situated but if you are west of Girne, I would recommend without hesitation that you call in and see Celal at Ersem Trading on the main road in Alsancak. He will tell you exactly what you need to know. Celal speaks very good English and is a mine of (correct) information. He certainly won't put any pressure on for his guys to do the work or to sell you the materials. Great company to deal with.

I second Celal at Ersem Trading. Did lots of work for us & for grandson too. Couldn't fault anything.

The "Power of the Forum" is not strong and grows weaker. Over 600 views and only 2 responses be it.

If you need to do any filling, add PVA glue to your filler to make it much harder and waterproof.
