Can anyone help please, my friend, who does not live here, has her own car but no TRNC phone number only English. She has not been alerted re registering her car with the Government? Does she have to contact them direct and if so what is the contact tel number or email address, will they alert her via her English phone?

Only the department will be able to answer your questions with up to date information.

It sounds like you are referring to receiving alerts to tell you when your MOT is due etc. I think it is only possible to do from a local phone as the number to text is local and only 4 digits. It is not compulsory.
