Help my Facebook account has been disabled!

Hi probably our ex tenant has complained & my FB account has been disabled due to ‘impersonation’
I have sent & resent ID as requested by them but they do not acknowledge receipt of this just keep sending another message asking me to prove my identity it is a very similar experience to the Barclays Indian Call Centre & very frustrating!
Can anyone offer any suggestions please?

Sounds like spam. Try ignoring it .... it happened to me

If it’s not too inconvenient try another log in name etc. As if your starting again. I got locked out of my Facebook account and that’s what they kept asking me for identity. So I just changed my name by adding a bit extra, like extra “ee’s“ on the end of my name and surname and a telephone number instead of email address. It’s worked ok for about a year now, but probably somewhere out there is my old account which I don’t remember the details of.

Should say also that I let people know as I went along. One good thing I got rid of people I didn’t want on my Facebook page

Hi thanks Dalartokat that is what I have done now but I cannot access details previously posted which would have been helpful to me,
Unfortunately the same people might not contact again.

Did you submit your appeal through FaceBook help centre using the email address you used when you joined ?
