Is anyone else having a problem with their landline in the Lapta area, my phone keeps making strange noises as if it's trying to ring but there is nobody there and no dialling tone.

had a very similar problem since the storm. it turns out to be the telephone electronics damaged in the storm. solution for me was a new telephone from Chinabazar 35tl

have you reported a fault with telekom ?

If you've a problem ring Telephone Faults on 0392 815 2128. There is someone who speaks enough English to understand.

It seems to have cleared itself now and is working as usual, maybe there was some repair work going on somewhere.
