Having spent 6 years buying our villa it has taken us 3 years to sell it, a heartbreaking experience which all ended in a bums rush ! We are now crammed into a rented furnished villa with our own furnishings which we had no time to appraise or sell. Thus we have 2 or more of most things domestic. I will be publishing, piecemeal, over the next few weeks, items for sale and we will be most grateful if you take note of this or if you know of anyone who is making a home here guide them towards us, the contact details being as shown in the sales section.

DD, I feel for you, my sale was a horrendous experience too, though there were some funny moments.

Kaiserphil. Thanks for the empathy. Yes, it does help to try and find humour in all situations adverse or otherwise, and often a strange sense of humour. When I moved to and from Germany with my large family for a 4 year tour of duty in the early 1970s it was easy peasey as there were 55 thousand BAOR troops to help me and numerous local civilian experts. That is probably more human resources than could be raised nowadays by the complete British Army and perhaps reservists too. What a contrast to moving within TRNC. Numerous journeys back and forth in a beat up Ford transport van ! Still
