im presuming he is in the forces as he is landing at RAF Akrotiri?

If he is Sgt or above he can book a room in the mess. Below the rank of Sgt there are various rooms/bungalows available for rent for visiting families etc. he needs to contact his home unit admin cell or find a contact at RAF Akrotiri admin for guidance.

Failing that. there are a multitude of cheap accom options on the Akrotiri side of limassol that are very cheap for one night. only 20 mins by car from RAF Akrotiri.

Phone roaming works well in the south so google maps is good as a sat nav to find these hotels/guest houses

hope that helps

Assuming the passenger is entitled to enter Cyprus via RAF Akrotiri is on duty, be he/she a Service, Dependent, Civil Servant or a MOD-sponsored passenger, accommodation can be pre-ordered on the base prior to travel.

you cant fly into akrotiri if you are not entitled to be in Cyprus.

its a military airbase for military aircraft for military people and their dependents.

occasional politicians and celebreties performing for the military also pass through. and Terry waite...lol

If they are flying into RAF Akrotiri as a family, I am not aware of accommodation that would be available on camp for a nights stay. You mention a hire car being delivered for them to the terminal.

I would suggest they take the 20 min drive into Limassol and find a suitable hotel to stay.

The Pefkos Hotel is on the Akrotiri side of town and is an easy drive. Google maps will show location.

Hope this helps.
