I just found this old Pathe news reel on YouTube showing Vassilia/Karsiyaka in 1956 . No sound but still fascinating

Pity there's no audio but good to watch none-the-less. I did have to chuckle though, (44 seconds in), at the little boy, second from the left, standing on the arched building waving a flag with what at first glimpse looked like the B&M logo.
