I need a document sent from the UK to KKTC. Search facility on board, reveals that First Call estate agents, Catalkoy, are DHL agents. Does anyone know if that is still the case ?

Thank you for your reply. Not heard from First Call, did hear from Dagli, they confirmed they are agents, sorted I think.

My wife has had her new D/license sent from the UK to our Cyprus address. We are currently tracking it and it’s now at Istanbul. On other occasions it’s been delivered to our door or we have received a telephone call to meet at a nearby location. We expect it in the next few days so will let you know. The service has been pretty good in the past.

We've found DHL excellent on several occasions. Delivered to the door. Easy also to pick up or send from their base in Lefkoşa near the Gumruk. Wish I could say the same for UPS. Parcel sent from Italy 4 weeks ago. They lost it in Istanbul then miraculously found it again. It is now sitting in the Gumruk shed at Ercan and as the person who was receiving it has now gone back to the UK it can't be released to anyone else unless the name is changed. UPS are not interested in doing that so there it is going to sit. DHL every time for us

JV, interested to know what happens. I started the process today with First Call near Malpas. Just for information, First call deal with a variety of items, Dagli Sigorta only deal with passports.

According to the tracker our package has now cleared customs at Ercan and has been delivered to the DHL distribution facility(Nicosia) hopefully it will arrive today. Assuming it does then it has taken 4 days to reach us after being sent from Kent, Cost £29. Pretty good service I would say.

Excellent service Jackvern. However I don't think they deliver on a Saturday. They are open until 12 at the facility behind Kombos Mercedes garage in Lefkoşa where you can collect if you wish. You will need ID. Otherwise I would expect it to be delivered on Monday.

Package arrived this morning. Even drove into the drive and handed it to me on the patio. Laura B you were right no deliveries over weekend although tracking showed it in Nicosia on Friday. Skidmore you may have no doubts about the service.Good luck and thank you DHL.

Excellent Jackvern. They do seem to be a very well organised company. Very very different from UPS!

I think Dagli are ok with basic letters/documents as I remember getting legal documents sent from USA to their office in Karaoglanoglu a couple of years ago.

Just passports now.

My documents arrived, collected from First Call, fan of DHL !
