Cost for change of ownership in car log book

I have tried to find this using the search facility but no luck.
Does anyone know the current amount to transfer ownership please including the stamp or point me in the right direction, Thanks

I've only bought 2 cars in 15 years from a Garage (others have been private purchases) and I'm sure things have changed. Nowadays, do all the car sales outlets do all the running around for you, or is it just the larger well known companies that do it and presumably build into the cost of the car.

"In my own experience" (Cop out ) all of the car sales companies do it for you - the reason may be that they need to make damned sure that the vehicle is in your name, or else they will be the ones receiving your speeding tickets
