Driving License Renewal

Hi, I'm about to renew my license and I am over 60 but do not have a residency stamp
in passport so could anyone tell me if I need a Muhter's letter. Thanks

All you need is the old license,two new photo,s completed application form and the money.

Don't forget you will need a copy of your passport picture page

Why? All your details are on your old licence.

Well actually you will need a copy (or maybe your actual passport ) if like me, you have a new passport and number since applying for the last Licence.

When I first got here it felt like I needed my passport to buy stuff from Supreme!

That's the benefit of the TRNC driving licence, it contains so much information that on many occasions the PP is no longer required.

Renewal Update.
I have just been to the office in Girne to renew my license and this
is the latest procedure.
Documents needed were :-
Old driving license.
2 passport like photos.
Completed application form ( it was in English ).
Passport.
Photo copy of main passport page.
Fee.
In and out in 10 mins. (They have a ticket system so no more queue jumping, ha ha ).
Latest costs are :-
1 year - 240tl
2 year - 350tl
3 year - 470tl
5 year - 720tl
10 year - 1,195tl
