Fire LAPTA Strip

LA HOTEL Apartment caught fire this morning. One Fatality reported 71yo English Lady.

Yes, and until someone had sense to remove it, apparently the holiday makers name was on a Facebook page!!!

Her name was published on another forum today, ergo it is in the public domain so why not name her on this forum? As sad as the news is for her family and friends, deaths are reported.

Very sad story. Her name was released on the LGC web site so was already in the Public domain. Her son has actually used a Face book group to appeal for information so I don't see an issue with naming the Lady. May she rest in peace,

My point being someone put it, as I understand it, on Facebook before family were aware and the son was appealing for information.

That isn't correct though and it was already in the public domain via the link above by then. I do understand though that very often stuff is put out on Facebook without a thought for those concerned.

It was on the News in North Cyprus news page, with her name, before it was on facebook.
