How about starting a forum for all the lonely people out there who are wanting some company,I think it would be great service to all.

It usually takes a brave person to admit they are lonely. For some people they feel it is a personal failing but don't / won't always admit it to others. Christmas and New Year is probably the very worst time of the year. Its also easy for outsiders to mistake self sufficiency when in fact someone just needs a kind word and a hand held out to them.
