How did it go? Sorry I missed the show would love to know who it went?

Hello Halffull ! thank you for your interest !!!!!!!!! although in a previous thread you have said I am "Not your cup of tea" ! I assume you mean "How it went" and not "Who went" ??? We were very pleased with the evening with a full restaurant with parties from Kyrenia Golf Club, Best Sellers Book Shops, Tiga Trading, and Bayrak Radio ! I played a mixture of styles from Santana to acoustic versions of Bon Jovi, and the Eagles which seemed very popular. The proprietors of The Fez had very tastefully decorated the place and with subdued lighting and big log fire the atmosphere was superb. I understand the Fish and Chips served in newspaper was excellent and will definitely try it soon. I am confident all who attended (approx 100) enjoyed the evening and the Fez have asked me to play monthly so assume they were pleased with the outcome. We are away until mid Jan, so will try to get to your next show there after that.

Everyone from Best Seller Bookstores had a great night, Barry was great as usual and The Fez looks beautiful and yes the fish and chips wrapped in paper were very good.

First time at the Fez last night and was impressed by the food, service and decor well done the Fez.

Well done Barry, once again another great performance that covered a range of styles that had the place ROCKIN!! Tubular Bells was fantastic!! Really hope that that you play again there soon.

Hello All, thanks for your positive comments. Really enjoyed the gig and such a nice crowd, thank you all ! The Fez certainly did us all proud. Many positive remarks regarding the food and decorations, and very efficient bar and restaurant staff. I am very pleased to say that they have asked me to play again once a month with the next gig being Friday 18th January 2013 ! will remind you all nearer the time regards Barry

Barry, after all my hype about your gig on a previous thread, I couldnt make it as a TC decided to take the side out of my car in the bad rain in a Range Rover. No one hurt, fortunately, but very shaken, but will be at the next gig. Allen

That's great news that you will be playing once a month, I'm sure the 18th will be just as busy as this weekend or even busier!!!

I have NEVER claimed to be better than anyone else. I have merely emphasised that I try to provide something different.
If what I do is not to your taste then "so be it", and I would appreciate it if you would refrain from putting words in my mouth. Your mention of my "claims" is bang out of order.

Arockingace. Dont have a go at me mate, you dont even post under your own ID making out,at first, you are not Gavin. Also read your own post where you clearly hint that you provide "live" music without "backing tracks". I agree that you try to offer something different and that we all have different tastes and think it best that we leave it there. I saw a bit of your act last night and will not comment any further ! Hello Allen, Thank you for your continued support but may I say that I am sure that no malice was meant in whatever was said and that we should all enjoy each others performances and move on and look forward to a great new year here in the TRNC !!!!! I think all entertainers try to their best ability to make their performances as entertaining as possible and that we should all pull together to continue to do so. Regards Barry
