We don't need this until next winter. We are moving and do not want to take the 'Rekor' stove we have now with us. This stove heats about 80m2 of our house, standing in the middle of the centre hall/dining/sitting area, nicely with doors to the TV room, office and kitchen always open. The house is an old Cypriot farmhouse with high beamed ceilings.
We are buying an old house again, also with high ceilings and beams. The rooms to be heated are are a bit smaller, maybe 70m2 and the stove will stand in the middle of the house again.
We do not want to do any cooking with the new stove. We would like it to heat the whole house and we do not like the idea of storing the wood below the fire basket. We do not want to buy it in the South, Turkey maybe.

Any suggestions appreciated.

Go and see the people at StoneArt Girne! They will come and tell you exactly what you need, they know what they are doing and only sell top class stoves, they also install real chimneys - single wall inside so you benefit from the heat and double wall outside so you don't suffer condensation. I would not hesitate in sending people there even through they are more expensive than other places - truly, you get what you pay for!!!

Must agree with Waddo, Stone Art fitted our log burner, rebuilt the fireplace and cleared up behind them, excellent service and workmanship. They are a bit more expensive but well worth it in my opinion.

Agree , Stone Art. Bought an Invicta wood burner(French). They came, measured up, advised the stove that we needed for the area to heat. Removed the old fire place tiled and installed the new burner. Well worth the money.

Totally agree Stone Art are the best We too bought an Invicta to heat our bungalow It does the job and then some Warm and cosy and keeps the bedrooms warm as well
