Is there any incentive from the government regarding cost of road tax to benefit the owners of these cars

None I have one

I was told by car dealer that car tax is cheaper for hybrid cars, not sure if this is true or not.

Seems to be a difference of opinion between two owners any chance of clarification and an idea of savings as
as I have a Lexus hybrid in the uk I would like to import.

Goes by weight of car mine last year was 800tl tax

I can't wait to hear what the MOT bods will make of an all-electric car.... it will be hoot watching them hunt to square-up the VIN number with the 'engine' which seems to be all they check apart from how clean the bodywork is, mudflaps and number plate... Brakes don't seem to get a look-in!

Good grief, takes me back. I can remember it so well. I pass by the garage in Alsancak most days, looking forward to seeing a car and make.

The road tax for hybrid cars is cheaper. I have a Honda CRZ hybrid with 1.5 engine + a small 22hp electric engine and it is referred to as "hybrid" in the documents. Even though the car is over 1200kg and 124hp, my last road tax was 400 tl (the year before it was 300tl but there was a 30% increase).

I'M still waiting to see someone charging!!!!
