Have found to been charged for item 65TL that was not bought, only a small shop for dog food etc but in a rush so did not check.

Got back home to find the error and returned to be fobbed off / ignored, lesson learnt will not shop there again and will check all supermarket bills at the till.

Suggest you all do the same !

Did you ask to speak to the Store Manager?

What did (s)he say?

İ ask this because in my experience, it's no good complaining to the individual till operator who might be 'on the fiddle', because all that they would do is protect themselves...

To be honest cannot be bothered, all to often over here I find company owners deny any failings or faults.

Have found decent individuals / companies and they have my loyalty.

I totally agree with Keith, Sa have been second to none on the two times I have needed to make a complaint. Once I commented that I felt the tomatoes were not up to standard. Within five minutes two men were removing them all. The only time money has been involved was when their computers were obviously at fault and ringing up incorrect price. A free cup of coffee later the office had corrected the fault and I was handed my change. Ask to see the Duty Manager, the youngsters on the till can do nothing.

In a civilised society, unless you are going to label someone as a liar and a thief, you take their word for it

Many thanks Keith, I trusted Sah and never checked the bills but this visit was small and the bill seemed high and when I queried got fobbed off.

Now using other supermarkets and seems that locals use these as they are far busier and costs far less.

I am not looking to cause trouble and leave it to others to determine where they spend their money.

I noticed when i was last there in October they were selling English Ales and at approx .71 a bottle it's cheaper than here in UK even on the smallest size. Mandy and I will be out next week so a few bottles as a taste of home will go down well especially at that price.

Check the receipts before you leave the shop, that way you have a chance of getting it rectified. Once the goods have left the shop its more difficult to sort it out.
