A friend who is visiting for Xmas has expressed an interest in drinking Cava.
I don't know what that is, nor where I can buy it.
Any help appreciated.

I am a cava fan-but as we are not in spain I went to erdeners to try the local stuff.
They had some sparkling wine which I think was from latvia or somewhere like that and it was absolutely superb.
They also had some rose fizz which was equally good-both were cheap- 9-12tl if I recall.
If you must have cava they sell it in the south at most places-but when In rome and all that.
