Duty Free from Ercan Airport

Please make sure if you buy a bottle of alcohol at Ercan Airport it is put in a sealed bag if you are transferring at Istanbul Airport. I was stopped in Istanbul and my bottle was confiscated. I showed the security my receipt and boarding card stub from Ercan but they were having none of it. The person I dealt with was not interested at all and was ignoring my request for my receipt back. After requesting 3 or 4 times she said NO. I spoke to a manager who again was not interested. I said perhaps they should tell Ercan Airport the correct procedure. No security bag No Duty Free. They will confiscate it.
