Americans don't catch virus apparently?

If I've read Trumps latest pronouncement correctly, flights from 27 European countries are banned from landing on US soil but Americans are exempt. Is it me???

Yes, I guess it is. Any country can deny foreign visitors, but its' own citizens are free to enter their country of birth. I suspect arriving US citizens are screened if coming from a 'designated' country.

There are 27 EU states.
22 are in the Schengen area which facilitates unhindered movement across borders.
The USA have banned travellers from this area.
Eire, Cyprus and a few other non -Schengen members are ok to travel. (at the moment!)
Even if you transit through the safe counties the US will be able to pick up where you started from thus barring your boarding of an aircraft at source.

Trump has ordered the airlines to issue passengers (that are allowed in) with parachuted. They will be required to jump out while the aeroplane is in the stack.

That's it Bowman, I knew I was missing something. Yes hedge-fund I was aware of the Schengen members, it was the way in which Trump worded yet another of his nonsensical pronouncement during the middle of the night, which has now been superseded in any case during the day by more sensible US officials.

A few days ago on CNN he said the virus was a hoax! Hope he gets it big time.

Saw Trump announcing a state of emergency this morning first thing after that he tried to shake hands with some one what an idiot he is. Maybe its the side effects of the anti baldness pills he takes?
