Did anyone catch the mosque announcement just now? It was in English but finished before I could open the window to listen properly? It was in Turkish afterwards and was about the Corona virus I picked up Friday too. In 14 years of living here I can’t remember another announcement in English before! So suspect it’s important, will listen out and post the gist if they repeat it.

Just caught it again, difficult to make it all out but was basically dont go out unless you need to and keep away from crowded places.

By crowded places, if he means the new Elelli, then he's so right. Spoke to an elderly lady this morning who went in there yesterday and she said it was dreadful, why do people do it? I went into another Supermarket in Alsancak yesterday and it was wonderful. Flocks of Sheep, that's what some people are. Or is it herds of cows?

So, guess people are not following the rules regarding how many customers are allowed into any shop at any time then? Supreme are quite strict over the numbers allowed in!!!
