Great news

Because of the lock down theres unlikely to be any traffic deaths so lives are being saved!. Theres on average about 1 a week. So as long as nobody dies here from the virus a life will be saved every week.

I only just hope that it doesn't go back to the norm when the curfew is lifted.

That will only occur if they....
learn how to drive carefully whilst not texting, not applying lipstick, not smoking and wearing a seat belt....
25% could do with a car service too.... lights brakes and tyres for a start.

When I was out driving last week there was hardly any traffic around but I nearly had 2 accidents due to drivers pulling out of side roads without looking. It would seem that the reduction in traffic means they no longer have to check whether it’s clear to pull out. This doesn’t bode well for when things back to normal.

Should adopt the "2 metre distance apart" rule for certain drivers when things approach normality!
