Electricity bills

Two questions
- During the current situation, am I correct in assuming that those with overdue accounts won’t be automatically cut off?
- Does anyone know if it’s possible to pay more than one account on the Kibtec mobile app. I have tried just entering a new ID but it won’t accept it. Is the app specific to just one account?

I believe the app is specific to one account (via phone number). I am not sure if that is true of the online payment webpage ? It might be locked via log in details to a single account. Then again it might not so maybe worth a try ?

Went on to their web site, pressed translation and the screen came on which closely resembles the screen on the Kibtek ATM. Whole thing took 2 mins max. No probs. Just to be on safe side I copied payment and date details on to my phone.

If you get a text from kibtek there is a link allowing you to pay the bill, it allows you to change the language to Russian or English, choose whether to postpay or prepay then you can enter the account number, amount you want to pay and credit/debit card details. If you get a bill via email then if you follow the link it completes the information for you. No need to login. The website is faturaode.kibtek.com/
Obviously you can go straight to the website, all you need is the account number and then the details of whoever is paying it, it doesn't have to be the account holder.

Thanks for the info. I’ve been able to pay my own bill on the app with no problem. I was ( rather optimistically) hoping I could use the same app for my sister, putting in her details. I have tried the payment site, but that wasn’t working this morning. I’ll give it another try later.
I do know there are several people who pay their bills monthly through the bank, but who are stuck very unexpectedly in the UK and don’t have their account details with them!

When I was paying customers online I noticed at 11:00 it came up with a message saying between the hours 23:00 - 5:00am, afterwards I couldn't make more payments, I went back in the next day before 11:00 and it all worked ok. It did take 4 days to be debited from my uk account.

It might be worth 'overpaying' if and when you get the chance.
So, I always keep my account in about 400 TL credit as I spend most of my time in the UK (still at working age).
This gives me a years grace should..... lets say.... a pandemic occur :)

The next page should have the account info for that Account No
Pay what you need to pay, or more. :+1:)

Ours was paid at Uzun market in Ozankoy opposite Just Nice. As I understand bills can also be paid at Starling.

Yes, you can use the Kibtec App to pay more than one bill. I have been doing that since it launched. You do need to check that the information you put in is the same as it was when first registered however. For example on one account it is the phone number and thd long account number but on the other it is the phone number and the passport number (preceded by GBR and a space) used when registering in 2006! There is a phone number at the bottom of the App and I used this to find out what information they held. They were very helpful and gave me a hint (due to data protection) which was enough to confirm to me the information needed. Good luck and Stay safe.
