Food donations for the needy

Are there any food donation stations/drop points in the Alsancak area. Sure there are people experiencing hardship and would like to do our bit.

The starlings supermarket have a rack outside the front door leave a bag of what you can donate, just ask the staff at the door.

Can anyone assist with 11 peolple who are up near Kaya Palazzo and in need of food. They were turned away from Girne Belediye who say they are only giving food packages to citizens! How are people meant to survive with little or no support if they are on minimum wage with salary cuts taking place.
