Do shop managers know something we don't?

Went into my local store which in the past I have praised, but today I was amazed. I know there is a difference of opinion as to the efficacy of masks and their necessity, but today I was given a real peach of a reply. I asked to speak to Manager, a chap came to me with his mask been worn as a necklace. I asked why and he shrugged (don't you just love it??), and pulled it back up, whereby it fell down again. I could see 5 assistants filling shelves or standing around chatting and said, "even the staff wearing masks are not covering their noses, why is that". To which the reply was " no, because it makes them feel ill and can't breath properly" My immediate thought was, well, you can't breath properly if you're six foot under either but what would be the point. Same here seems to be a fashion accessory .
One staff member at the door mask at neck level having a fag then pointing the temperature reader at customers.
Pointless !!

Some seem to think there's no need to wear it if social distancing (:()) (:()) (:())
