This morning I went to the police station regarding the regional movement curfew to seek information of what I needed to do so staff are moving around legally.
I showed all of my paperwork and the policeman said you have ithalatci-ihracatci belgesi ,you are an import supply business and do not need to come here for permissions. The name above translates to importer certificate, oh and my number is 14812 as well as my company number M,S.14321 which is a wholesale /retail company and supermarket.
I asked about the movement of staff and he told me which I already knew as we have done it already, that I make a form called, KISMI SOKAGA CIKMA YASAGI EMIR NAMES UYARINCA GOREV BELGESI and on this form, I write my staff's id number and name and where they work from and nature of work and business and which areas you work in, which are Girne, Lefcosa, Magusa, Guzelyurt. I add my name and who I am in the company and add our phone number and stamp it with company stamp and signature, that covers our staff.
So back to the heading of this post, it might appear to the ill-informed that I am a wine shop or a back street off licence but we are neither, we are an importer/wholesaler/retailer supermarket
That is why our doors are open for those who insist on the rude disgusting remarks as to why we are open.
I do hope this explanation put everything to bed as it gets boring listening to customers telling us about the gossip out there concerning my business.
