Presidency hosted an important meeting today…
President Mustafa Akıncı met with Prime Minister Ersin Tatar and Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Kudret Özersay. During the meeting, the situation and predicted developments regarding the coronavirus outbreak were evaluated.
Making a statement after the meeting, which lasted approximately 1 hour, President Mustafa Akıncı said that both the Presidential Health Advisory Board and the Economic Advisory Board shared the findings.
Stating that the process should be carried out in cooperation and step by step in solidarity, Akıncı stated that the humanity of the whole world was going through a difficult process.
Akıncı pointed out that this epidemic is their greatest wish to end soon, “but it seems that this will not be a snap. Those days will be reached step by step with the measures to be taken. ”
