The Debenhams in Cyprus have a different parent company to the UK stores.
Shame the little store in Engomi has closed though.

It's a shame any of them must close but if they do not keep up with online shopping it could be the demise of many high street stores sadly. Amazon eBay etc is going to kill everything on the high street.

I really an sad about Debenhams as it was my shop of choice when I was a bit skint and couldn't afford John Lewis. That's the thing I miss second of all not living in UK any longer - a wander up and down a High Street. First of all is National Trust.

If they do keep up with online shopping they will close physical stores anyway.
If you sell a pair of trousers online then you won’t sell that same pair of trousers in a store
