We should have travelled from Dublin last week but that ticket was cancelled. Checking at the TA office in Dublin airport (before the restrictions in Ireland) gave us three options: cancel and refund; rebook; keep open ticket and rebook later.
The TA app now only shows our original return flight on 19th May as still active but I suspect that will disappear as the restrictions are extended.
We hope to rebook for September inshallah.

We were due to fly Heathrow to Ercan with TA on 29th April. They emailed us asking us to contact them. Told us our flight was cancelled and then they rebooked it for 1st May!!! Needless to say we aren’t holding our breath.

Our flight with Pegasus on the 1st May was cancelled yesterday, there are no flights with Pegasus through out May, the 1st June looks like the next flight to Cyprus.

Oh well, bang goes my 16th May flight. If Pegasus have done the cancelling I MIGHT be able to get money back, but not holding my breath.

Looks like TA have now cancelled international flights to 20th May, on the web site. No mention of internal yet. We were due to fly on 19th May. Has anyone managed to get a refund if the dates don’t correspond for both flights. I assume I’ll have to wait until both flight dates are covered ?

In answer to my own question, phoned TA & they have refunded in full. Only thing is I was told it will take 2 months to get back on my card! Maybe by then we’ll know when we can travel again, we can live in hope

I need them not to fly until 17th, then I can try and get my money back!! What would be the point in any case. Can't stay in other peoples houses, can't stay in a hotel, can't pitch a tent on Brighton Beach, so unless you are going back to your own home in UK, you'd have know where to stay.

Flights now cancelled until 28th May.
Keith, re the Ercan status, TA say on the website ‘Domestic flights, including Ercan’ so obviously it can be either domestic or international,

. Maybe domestic to Istanbul from Ercan as you need to go through international departures when you transit to the UK but domestic to Ercan??? But who knows, we just go with the flow

Seems my policy of staying in TRNC and not going anywhere has paid dividends.

This might have saved his life then. Better here methinks.

germany just extended the travel advice/warning for all countries to mid june.
before global (long haul) or "Non EU" travelling starts, Germany prefers a "EU solution", so, basically "most or many" countries open airports /borders/ checkpoints same time.
GC announced that "maybe" for beginning of juli travel "might be possible" for "some" countries.
the UK is not included.
NC PM Tatar announced that "no definite date" was given for any opening of airports and checkpoints.
to be expected is that NC will (or tries to) be "in line" with GC (/ EU, eg, to open green line checkpoints), but will get some problems to open green line / ECN / harbours for "some" foreigners but maybe not TC citizens.
it also can be that NC "waits" until covid 19 is "under control" in TR as well.
for now, do not expect that UK citizens will be permitted to enter the TRNC from mid june / beginning of juli onwards.
