I have a Netflix account that I set up in the UK. UK address, email etc. and I use Streamvia yet when I go to reactivate it I am directed to Netflix Cyprus and the account has been converted to Euros. Is there anyway that I can reactivate my original account?

Have you tried using a VPN logged in to the UK?

There is some info on streamvia's status area here - need to be logged in to your client area to see it

https://www.streamvia.com/clientarea/serverstatus.php

Thank you. I've looked on their site but looks a bit complicated. I'm assuming that Netflix Cyprus shows the same content and if do will join that. As a matter of interest if I were to get my sister to rejoin for me in the UK will that work here?

The majority of Netflix content is common across all regions but there are differences. Any Netflix account will work in any region (except china). It will generally show the content of the region you are deemed to be accessing from. There is a kind of small exception to this to do with EU rules that basically say they have to allow a Netflix user from one EU country, like say France to access French region content when they are in another EU country like say Greece, for a certain period of time in a year, I think it is like 54 days or something. But other than this you will get Netflix content based on where you are deemed to be accessing it from. Use any Netflix account in the US and you get US content. Use same netflix account in Australia and you will get Australian content and so on.

Another thing worth knowing about Netflix is they really do not care how much a given account is shared amongst people. The limit is on simultaneous streaming connections. So you can share your Netflix account with other people if you choose to. Depending on the type of account you have the limit will be on how many of those people can watch stuff at the same time from different locations all using the same single account.

Thank you. My sister reactivated my account in the UK and it works perfectly here on all devices including the TV. I can continue watching Ozark this evening!
