Most Secure Way to Receive Post From the UK?

As it's my birthday today there are a few letters and a small parcel I'd like from the UK. I have a PO box in the South but that's no good at the moment is it? I don't trust the normal postal route through Turkey having had things stolen before.

Can anyone let me know if DHL or similar courier or company will be more secure please?

Thanks in advance. :x))

YURTICI Cargo, (ARAMEX) Managed to deliver a parcel to me last week from an order bought on Amazon (UK) via Adana to TRNC for electronic mosquito zappers. Not sure about medication but try contacting the pre-mentioned carrier, the only two phone numbers I have for them on the delivery box are: (0090) 212 6566967 / (0392) 0548 8792438.

The Royal Mail provides a Track and Trace to the TRNC, ( Mersin 10, Turkey ). Don’t write Cyprus!

Your local Post Office will hold it until you call to collect it, if they don’t normally deliver to you. You might be lucky and they telephone you, if your number is on the packet and they speak English.

It takes about two weeks. You can track it all the way to Turkey, but then that’s the end of the tracking!

Never lost anything.

I have an urgent letter for the UK. Are the post offices open here and are they getting post on flights?

You might want to read what is happening in U.K. to the postal Services. It is very hit and miss and depending where you live.
So if you get your letter to U.K. and has to be posted again once there, it could be delayed. I’ve experienced both good and bad and it makes no difference to 1st or 2nd class. I was told by our Postie that “tracked” mail/parcels were given priority.
Also we have Bank holidays coming up which could delay also.

Does anyone know if post offices are open and is mail coming and going from TRNC to /from UK please? We have post in transit somewhere, just wondering when it might possibly get here.

I would’t say your snookered, but depending upon where the letter/parcel is going to, if someone cannot personally deliver for you and you have said it’s urgent, then you may encounter delays. Tracking seems to be the best way.
