Canada weapons ban

In response to the recent mass shooting in Canada, semi Automatic weapons are to be banned. New Zealand did the same ban following the mass shooting there. As for America, no amount of deaths will persuade them to do likewise. In my veiw there is no justification for the private ownership of such weapons!

You cannot talk to Americans about it they love their guns.
I can at a stretch understand having a handgun in the house for home security but when some of them have 6 semi automatics and god knows how many other guns you know it’s them wanting to be Rambo. They do like to pretend that they need them in case their government turns into a dictatorship but I always point out them they’ll have your professional forces, together with aircraft carriers, jets, nuclear submarines etc. So whilst your 6 semi automatics are totally OTT for home security they will be pathetic for your future militia too
