If anyone needs a painter i can recommend a guy called Mamhut. He has just completed our villa with his team, the work is just outstanding, as good as any painter you would find in the UK, I am well pleased.

Good recommendation but - who is he, where is he, how do we contact him and what were his prices like? Did he provide the paint and was it inside or outside painting - or maybe both!
I am not being picky, well I hope not, but I am looking for a painter myself and am interested!

Thanks Navek - shame I don't use Facebook, time for me to learn I guess - it's either that with a glass of cold beer beside me or I have to do the painting myself! Now let me see..........

Nothing personal but re-post again on here this time next year - will it stand the test of time? It's too early to say that the job is "outstanding". Did he charge UK prices?

Sorry for the late reply had no internet since 3.30 yesterday,
His name is Mamhut, he lives in Girne, his price for the work he carried out was very reasonable, we dont have the biggest villa but it took him and three other guys 6 days to completed the job, yes he provided the paint, outside. He cleaned up every flake of paint when they finished, He quoted in sterling. It took 3 days just to prepare for the painting, You may be picky and thats OK but we are well pleased with the job.
He can be contacted on 0548 836 6121, If you want to see the job you are free to call and see we are in Ozankoy, social distancing of course, call me 0533 876 2204.

Depends what you call UK prices? It matters not, he came gave me a quote I was happy with, great job gave him a decent tip on completion. In the end you get what you pay for.

Thanks Mollie, I meant I was not being picky about your post, I just needed a bit mor information was all! I only need a couple of rooms inside re painting as I am told by my boss that I am no longer to be trusted on a ladder or steps - just hate this getting old thing - lol. Will contact him as soon as I get other jobs finished and have more strength to move the furniture out of the way.

Hi Waddo,
No offence taken, the guy speaks perfect English really helpful, he even painted an outside Garden room not included in the quote at no extra cost, certainly worth a quote from him.
