Bought one from a small place set back off the road directly opposite The Lords Palace. It's a Fuji, inverter with wi fi ( not that we use the wi fi function). Cant remember the price or the name of the business but he was better then all other shops we compared it to.

Thornaby, is that the guy under the block of flats? Been there for years and generally imports most of his bits from Germany, always a good deal and follow up service if needed.

I was referring to the place that thornaby mentioned down the New Harbour Road, roughly opposite Lords Palace complex.

I have no knowledge of any aircons that he sells/stocks, but the place is like an Aladin's Cave to explore

After the large Bathroom furniture place on the left - 'Ermetaş' - you hang a left towards a block of flats, and the Ucuzcu occupies the entire basement.

As I say, I make no judgement whatsoever on the aircons that he sells, and there are many highly reputable and highly recommended aircon suppliers/installers mentioned elsewhere on this forum...

Waddo, spot on, a place not much to look at and easy to miss.

Bought an small freestanding fridge from the "under the flats" place about 5 years ago. Never heard of the make before or since, but still going strong, stuck in the garage but only C rating. Cost 40GBP I think. Whether I'd buy something as expensive as Air Con I'm not sure.

Got a great deal at Simba bet price around . I went to there shop in Alsanjak after trying all the others . Great service fitted day and time they said cheapest inverter i could find with the standing unit in lounge 28btu 7500tl cash 2000tl cheaper than the lowest competitor some were 12000tl

We were on the market this time last year for a 28btu standing unit but the prices were well out of our range. On top of which we were told each time that we would need to have another special ring main installed in the lounge/dining room in order to run it.
