Is there still a postal service to the U.K.? Have some important docs that need returning. Thanks in advance.

Not sure, called at our PO in Karaoglanoglu this morning and there is a red and white rope tied right across the door. They must have been putting letters etc into the PO Box, because ours was stuffed. Some posted in UK to here 2nd week in February but at least have just received my UK Mothers Day Cards.

I asked the man at the Karaoglanoglu Post Office if recorded mail was still going to UK. He said it was, but had difficulty explaining how!

I posted a card to UK as soon as post office opened after the lockdown and another card to UK early June

Neither card has arrived....yet!!!!

Acacia, a card posted in early June and expecting it to have arrived now is pushing it!!!!

Don't know about to the UK. A letter posted six ago in darkest Wales arrived this morning. It was delivered directly to my house in Yesilteppe via the alsancak post office. They had even corrected the address to include alsancak. Most impressed - better than the Mail service we have in Britain. WELL DONE TO THE TRNC POSTAL SERVICE

The question was post to the U K,I receive post on a regular basis from the UK but from here I wouldn,t trust it!!! Have a letter going back soon by a person I know who will post it in the U K for me

I pity the people who have P.O boxes down South. Usually the system is great, but they've been a bit stymied for the last few months haven't they?

As I said before, I have had no problems in the past using Registered/Recorded Mail from here to UK.

Have never had any problems with registered post from here or from the UK. Of it's important register it.
Ref: how mail is leaving. Cargo flights are still operating from Turkey to Ercan.

I checked with the post office last week and post is going my ship from Famagusta. I was told my birthday cards would arrive in Uk in about 4 weeks!!!
