Solar eclipse

A rare full solar eclipse takes place on the 21june. Unfortunately it will only be visible as a partial eclipse here in Cyprus. It starts at around 0735 hrs. For the next full eclipse, visible fully, here we will have to wait until 2060. Have put a reminder in my diary so I dont miss it!

I dont think that I'll bother with the calendar entry, as by then I'd be 113

Eclipse happening now ( 0815), very visible through multiple sunglasses.

I watched it through welding goggles. Only about a quarter of the disc was covered and no obvious
drop in sun intensity, but better than nothing.
